The Cane Leg Support was invented by John A. Montanti who previously owned and was President of ABCO Computerized Shipping Systems Inc. until it was sold in 2001. The Cane Leg Support idea was developed after Mr. Montanti suffered the loss of his right knee due to complications from an operation which ultimately led to a fusion and permanent disability.
The Cane Leg Support has been examined by, shown and demonstrated to over fifteen Orthopedic, Podiatry and other Board Certified medical doctors and surgeons who unanimously praised the invention and urged Mr. Montanti to go forward with the idea and development of the Cane Leg Support. The overwhelming consensus was that the medical industry was in need of this new and innovative device.
